1. The following terms and conditions (hereafter referred to as the “Agreement”) apply to the use of physical or digital IKEA gift cards (hereafter “e-Gift Cards”) or Refund Cards, (collectively, “Cards”) purchased directly through IKEA or allocated to a customer by IKEA (see section 13 below for details on third-party gift card purchases). This Agreement is between you and IKEA. By purchasing, accepting, or using your Card, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree with this Agreement, do not purchase, use, or accept the Card. 2. The Cards are issued by IKEA Limited of 1 Bow Churchyard, London, EC4M 9DQ (“IKEA”). Please note that these terms and conditions apply only to Cards purchased or issued in the UK. For e-gift cards purchased or issued in other countries, please refer to the terms and conditions relevant for that country. 3. You may inquire regarding your balance at any IKEA store or use the online balance checker. The balance you receive when inquiring is an estimate only. In most cases, the balance is adjusted immediately when you make a purchase, but there may be occasions when the balance adjustment is delayed. The Cards may not be reloaded with additional value. 4. Your Card is redeemable only for purchases of IKEA products, IKEA services purchased in-store or via IKEA.com/gb/en food and beverages at IKEA stores. The Cards have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash (except as required by law) or used to purchase another Card. 5. No refunds are permitted with respect to the purchase of e-Gift Cards; all sales are final. 6. Digital Gift and Refund Cards: the value of any lost, damaged or stolen Cards will not be replaced. You are responsible for safeguarding your Card from unauthorized use. Title and risk of loss for digital e-Gift Card and Refund Cards pass to the purchaser upon the electronic transmission to the purchaser or the designated recipient, the delivery to the carrier, or at the time of purchase or refund for in-person transactions, whichever is applicable. Physical e-Gift Cards and Refund Cards: remain the property of IKEA Limited, and may not be tampered or interfered with, without our consent. Risk of loss of the aforementioned cards passes to the purchaser on purchase or allocation of the Card. 7. Where a Card has been used as part payment and the value of the return exceeds the value of the Card used to purchase the items, refunds shall be issued to the original payment method. In the event that the original Card used to pay was a physical card, you will be allocated a digital Refund Card on return. 8. IKEA MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE CARDS INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT THAT A CARD IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND IKEA’S SOLE LIABILITY, SHALL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH CARD. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LEGISLATION, IKEA WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION: FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE CARD ARISING OUT OF YOUR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS AGREEMENT. 9. IKEA reserves the right to refuse to honor, or to suspend or deactivate a Card where IKEA suspects that the Card was obtained fraudulently (including tampering or duplication), in violation of this Agreement, or in violation of applicable laws or other applicable IKEA terms and conditions. IKEA is not responsible for, and assumes no liability to you for any unlawful conduct or fraud by any third party associated with any Card. 10. Your personal data will be processed by IKEA in order to process and deliver the Card. Please refer to IKEA’s Privacy Policy for details of how your personal data will be processed. 11. If you have purchased an IKEA e-gift card through a third party, please note that the terms and conditions displayed on the website you purchased the e-gift card from will apply to your purchase. 12. IKEA reserves the right to amend this Agreement from time to time, where IKEA deems necessary to do so. 13. This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction. 14.
