Yes, you can buy a Google Play gift card with Bitcoin, USDT, USDC or any of 200+ coins on KryptoMate. Pick the card for your Google Play country, which is tied to your Google payments profile, then pay with On-Chain, an exchange app or a Web3 wallet. Redeem the code in the Google Play app or at play.google.com/redeem and the value goes to your Play balance.

How to buy a Google Play gift card with crypto on KryptoMate

  1. 1Check your Google Play country. In the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions; your payments profile shows the country. Note it down.
  2. 2Go to the Google Play page and open the matching card, for example Google Play USA, Google Play UK or Google Play India.
  3. 3Check "Redeemable in" and choose a value. The value is in the card's currency; what you pay is in US dollars.
  4. 4Select Buy now and enter your email address. Guest checkout works; an account adds order history, points and the Mate Wallet.
  5. 5Choose a payment method. With On-Chain · 200+ coins, select the coin, then the network, and send exactly the amount shown to your order's address. USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20) are common choices; the networks offered are listed at checkout. Exchange apps such as Binance Pay, Bybit Pay and Bitget, and Web3 wallets such as MetaMask and OKX Wallet, can be used too. The methods offered for your order are the ones shown at checkout.
  6. 6Pay within 30 minutes. If you send a little less than due, the screen shows "Partly paid · send the rest", and you can top up to the same address before the timer ends.
  7. 7Once your payment is confirmed, the code shows on your order page and we email you when your order is delivered.

Your payments profile country is the one that counts

Google Play ties your Play balance to one country: the country of your Google payments profile. A Google Play card works only on an account set to the card's country, and Google can also check where you are when you redeem. If you're travelling outside the card's country, you may need to wait until you're back.

Some things to keep in mind:

  • Changing country is limited. Google's help page says you must wait at least 90 days after setting your Play country before you can change it, and 90 days between changes; a balance from the old country can't be used in the new one. Don't switch just to use one card.
  • Buying for someone else? Ask which country their Play account uses. A card for a different country can't be converted.
  • Pick from the right list. KryptoMate sells Google Play cards for the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, Turkey, India and the UAE.

What your Play balance pays for

In most countries the balance pays for apps, games, in-app purchases and subscriptions bought through Google Play, and for books and films where Google sells them. It isn't meant for Google's hardware store. If a purchase costs more than your balance, Google lets you add another payment method to cover the rest.

Denominations

Cards come in fixed values in local currency, listed on each product page. Smaller values are useful for a single in-game purchase; larger ones suit a year of subscriptions.

How to redeem

  • On Android: open Google Play, tap your profile picture, go to Payments & subscriptions, then Redeem code. Enter the code and confirm the account.
  • On a computer: go to play.google.com/redeem, sign in, enter the code and confirm.

Enter the code without spaces or dashes. If Google says it needs more information, follow its form and wait for a reply. Details are in How do I redeem a Google Play gift card?.

Delivery and refunds

Delivery is usually instant, but it might take 0–24 hours in rare cases. Once delivered, a card bought for the wrong country or value by your own selection can't be refunded. Invalid or undelivered codes are handled under the Refund Policy; report a problem within 48 hours of delivery and keep a screenshot of Google's message.

Frequently asked questions

Why does Google Play say my code can only be used in another country?

Your Google Play country, or the place you're redeeming from, doesn't match the card. Check the country in your payments profile and compare it with the card's "Redeemable in" line. KryptoMate can't change a card's country.

Can I change my Google Play country to use a card?

Google asks you to wait at least 90 days between changes of Play country, and your existing balance stays with the old country. It's usually better to buy the card that matches your current Play country.

Which crypto should I use for a Google Play card?

Any of the 200+ coins on On-Chain will work. Many people pay with USDT, because it's offered on several networks, such as Tron and BNB Smart Chain. The networks offered are listed at checkout, and network fees from your wallet are yours to cover.

Can I buy a Google Play card with a credit card on KryptoMate?

No. Card payments aren't offered for gift cards, games or top-ups. Pay with crypto, or with your Mate Wallet balance if you have an account.

Do I need to verify my identity?

Identity verification isn't required for every order. Under our AML & KYC Policy we may ask some customers to verify, for example for unusual activity or high values.

Ready? Choose the Google Play card for your country and pay with crypto.
