Robux or Roblox credit?

Roblox cards come in two broad kinds:

• Robux cards add a set number of Robux, Roblox's in-game currency, to the account as soon as you redeem.
• Credit cards add a money balance in the card's currency to the account. You then choose what to spend it on, such as Robux or a Roblox Premium membership.

The product page tells you which kind you're buying, so read it before you pay. If you just want Robux for a game, a Robux card is the simpler choice. If you'd like to put the value towards Premium, credit gives you that option.

Global card or country card

The Global Robux card is made to be redeemed from many countries, which is handy if there's no card listed for yours. Country cards (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, UAE) carry a value in that country's currency. Roblox's help centre says all Roblox codes can be redeemed worldwide and that the value converts to your account's local currency when you redeem, so a country card isn't tied to an account in that country; what differs is the currency you buy in. Buying for a child

Roblox balances belong to the account that redeems the code, and they usually can't be moved to another account afterwards. Ask for the exact Roblox username first, and redeem the code while signed in to that account. Some cards also include a bonus virtual item; if so, the card's details say how to claim it.

Denominations

Every Roblox card page lists its fixed values and today's prices. They change with the catalogue, so check the page when you buy. You can redeem more than one card on the same account.

How to redeem

Open roblox.com/redeem in a web browser (the redeem page isn't inside the mobile app), sign in to the account that should get the Robux or credit, enter the code and select Redeem.
