How to redeem a Roblox gift card

1. 1Copy the code from your order page with Copy.
2. 2In a web browser, go to roblox.com/redeem.
3. 3Log in to the Roblox account that should receive the value.
4. 4Enter the code in the text box.
5. 5Click Redeem. Roblox shows a confirmation message once the credit or item has been added.

Roblox lets you redeem as many cards as you like, but only one at a time on that page.

How to redeem a Roblox gift card on mobile

Roblox's help article is direct about this: redemption is not available in the standard mobile app or on consoles, and you must use a web browser. So on a phone, open roblox.com/redeem in the browser, not in the Roblox app.

There is one exception. Samsung Galaxy users can redeem inside the Roblox mobile app: open the More page, tap the Redeem tile and enter the code.

From Roblox Credit to Robux

After you redeem a gift card, Roblox stores the balance as Roblox Credit. Credit is not Robux yet. Roblox's help page gives these steps to spend it:

1. 1Log in, in a browser, to the account where you redeemed the card.
2. 2Go to roblox.com/redeem.
3. 3Select Get Robux. Roblox pre-selects the largest Robux package your credit covers.
4. 4Click Buy.

If credit is left over, Roblox asks whether you want more Robux. A remainder too small for a full package can be turned into Robux with Convert Credit to Robux on the same page.

Roblox also notes that some cards add Robux only and no credit. It names Amazon Gift Cards and Party Packs Gift Cards as examples.

What Roblox says about other countries

Roblox answers the question in its own help article: yes, you can redeem a card from another country. All Roblox codes can be redeemed worldwide, and the value automatically converts to your account's local currency upon redemption. A simple way to choose:

• If there is a card in your own currency, such as Roblox USA or Roblox UK, it avoids a conversion.
• If there isn't, look at Roblox Robux Global.
• Either way, read the Redeemable in line and the Terms tab on the product page first. Each card's own terms count, and we can't change a card after it is delivered.

If the code doesn't work

What Roblox lists

Roblox's help article explains an error on a code with look-alike characters. It suggests trying these swaps:

• 0 (zero) and the letter O
• 1 (one) and a capital I
• 2 and Z
• 5 and S
• 6 and G or Q
• 8 and B

If the code still fails, Roblox asks you to contact its support, with details such as your username, the purchase date and amount, and an image of any error message.

What to do on our side

Start with Copy on your order page, so the look-alike problem can't happen. Then check which Roblox account was logged in when you redeemed; the credit stays with that account. Our article My gift card code says it was already redeemed walks through that check.

If Roblox still rejects the code, write to our support with your order number and a screenshot of the error. Don't send the full code in chat. We review an invalid or undelivered code under the Refund Policy if you report it within 48 hours of delivery. A card picked for the wrong region or value by your own choice is not refundable, and a redeemed code can't be returned.
