Program Overview

The KryptoMate Points & Rewards program (the “Program”) lets registered KryptoMate users earn points on qualifying purchases and redeem them for wallet credit, which can be applied to future orders on the Platform. Participation is free, automatic for eligible accounts, and subject to the rules below. These terms supplement, but do not replace, the KryptoMate Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

Account requiredOnly logged-in KryptoMate accounts in good standing accrue points. Guest checkouts and accounts marked as blocked, suspended, or under investigation are ineligible.
Real users onlyAccounts identified as bots, duplicates, or those created in violation of our Terms of Service are excluded.
Account age for redemptionYour account must meet a minimum age (currently 7 days, set by the active Points Policy) before any points can be redeemed. Points still accrue during this period — only the redemption is gated.

Earning Points

Earn ratePoints are awarded per US dollar of paid order value, at the rate published in the active Points Policy. The current default is 1 point per $1 spent; we may run promotional multipliers (e.g. 2× on Mondays, 1.5× on selected categories).
Minimum orderOrders below the published minimum (currently $5) do not earn points.
Daily capEach account can earn up to a daily maximum (currently 100,000 points). Spend that would exceed the cap is not retroactively re-credited.
Excluded categoriesSome categories may be excluded from earning (e.g. wholesale orders, fee-only items). The active Policy is the source of truth.
Cooling-offNewly earned points enter a pending state for 72 hours before becoming available for redemption. This protects the system against abusive refund cycles.
Snapshot at earn timeEach ledger entry records the Policy in effect when the order completed, so changes to the Policy do not retroactively alter past earnings.

Holding Points (Available, Pending, Reserved)

Pendingwithin the 72-hour cooling-off window; not yet redeemable.
Availablepast cooling-off; can be submitted for redemption.
Reservedlocked in a redemption request that is being processed (see Section 5). Reserved points are not double-spendable.
ExpiryAvailable points expire 365 days after they were earned if unused. We will surface upcoming expiries in your dashboard whenever practical, but it is your responsibility to redeem them in time.

Redemption Process

Each redemption is processed before your wallet is credited. The flow:

SubmitYou enter the number of points and click submit. The points are immediately moved from your Available balance to your Reserved balance.
ProcessingKryptoMate reviews the request for fraud, eligibility, and account status. This typically completes within a few business days.
CreditedWhen processed successfully, the wallet credit appears in your wallet as a transaction tagged Points redemption, your Reserved balance drops to zero, and your Total Redeemed updates.
DeclinedIf the request cannot be processed (e.g. eligibility, fraud signal), the reserved points return to your Available balance and you are notified.
Self-cancellationWhile the request is pending, you can cancel it yourself from the Points dashboard — the points return to Available immediately.

Redemption rules:

  • Conversion rate: 1,000 points = $1.00 (subject to change in the active Policy; we will give reasonable notice of any decrease).
  • Minimum and maximum redemption amounts (per request and per day) are set by the active Policy and displayed on your Points dashboard at the time of redemption. The system enforces the current limits automatically.
  • Wallet credit is for use on the KryptoMate Platform only. It is not redeemable for cash, transferable to another account, or refundable in any form.
  • Wallet credit follows the standard Refund Policy in the event of a downstream order issue.

Refund Clawback

When an order that earned points is refunded (in whole or in part), the corresponding points are automatically deducted from your balance via a clawback ledger entry. If the clawback would leave you with a negative balance (e.g. you have already redeemed the points), the deficit is recorded and applied to future earnings before any new redemption is permitted.

Fraud, Abuse, and Account Closure

  • We may suspend, reverse, or forfeit points or pending redemptions at any time if we reasonably believe an account is engaged in fraud, refund abuse, multi-accounting, payment chargebacks, or any other violation of our Terms of Service.
  • Accounts closed by the user, or terminated for cause, forfeit any unredeemed points. There is no cash-out on closure.
  • We log each ledger entry with an IP address and user-agent for forensic purposes; this data is retained per our Privacy Policy.

Changes to the Program

We may modify, pause, or terminate the Points & Rewards program at any time, including changing earn rates, redemption rates, caps, eligibility, or the processing flow. We will provide reasonable notice in-app or by email before any change that materially reduces the value of points already earned. Points already in your balance at the time of a change remain redeemable under the rules in effect at the time of the change unless the program is terminated, in which case a wind-down period will be communicated.

Tax Treatment

You are solely responsible for any taxes that may arise from receiving wallet credit through points redemption in your jurisdiction. KryptoMate does not provide tax advice. We may withhold or report redemptions where required by applicable law.

No Warranty — No Cash Value

Points have no cash value. They are not a form of currency, a security, a deposit, or a financial instrument. They are a non-transferable, non-refundable benefit issued by KryptoMate to encourage continued use of the Platform.

Disputes

If you believe a redemption was wrongly rejected, or that your balance is inaccurate, please contact our support team within 30 days of the disputed event. Disputes are governed by the dispute-resolution section of the KryptoMate Terms of Service.
